about us

The promoters of the show are Amy Hastings and Sally and Steve Giannini. All have been crafting throughout the Northeast for over 20 years.

In 1990, Amy Hastings created her own unique line of newborn, infant, and toddler fashionable hats and footwear. Her business is called, “Fancy Feets.” She has been juried into 30+ shows each year throughout the Northeast. She has been awarded ribbons for her outstanding creativity in shows such as Fairport Canal Days, Canandaigua Arts Festival, and Hilton Apple Festival. Her experience as a crafter and her participation in top rated shows (as featured by Sunshine Artist Magazine), has given her a firm foundation as to what a solid show should be about, as well as the knowledge of how to continually improve and refine what the public is looking for in quality arts and craft shows.

Sally and Steve Giannini have been designing and retailing their unique line of country themed clothing since 1991. Sally Giannini Designs is an award winning women's clothing line that has gained popularity throughout the Northeast. The Giannini's have participated in shows in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and Virginia.

Through participation in a wide variety of shows the promoters have the ability to design a show that benefits both the artisans and customers. Since 2003 they have been promoting two shows each year in Binghamton, New York. Their experience has produced quality shows that are well run, extremely well organized, extensively advertised, highly regarded, and very well attended.

Holiday Traditions Craft Show has been an exciting community event and fundraiser for the local food bank, CHOW (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse). The Annual Holiday Traditions Craft show has developed into an attractive local shopping experience following Thanksgiving Day. Because of the popularity of the show, extended shopping hours were added on "Black Friday" evening from 3pm-8pm, in addition to the regular Saturday hours of 9am-4pm a couple of years ago.

The Springtime Craft Show is usually held during the 2nd or 3rd weekend of March which is a great way to celebrate the beginning of the Spring Season. Both shows are consistently well attended because of the reputation of the promoters, as well as the quality of the artisans who participate and travel not only from our local area, but from states all of the country. These shows host 150 craft booths and are held at Binghamton University’s West Gymnasium.
